Hi, I’m Andris Berkis. Growing up in Kuldiga, Latvia, with its rich history and vibrant community, I developed a love for creativity and exploration. My childhood was filled with sports, theater, and music, which fueled my passion for storytelling.

After studying finance in Riga and starting my career in journalism, I ventured into various roles, including TV anchoring and managing the Latvian Automobile Federation. These experiences shaped my journey and fostered my love for new challenges.

Moving to Stockholm and becoming a father brought a new dimension to my life. The bedtime stories I created for my children ignited my passion for writing, leading me to become a children’s book author. Today, my books are inspired by the same adventurous spirit that defined my youth.

My main job is in the industrial LED lighting sector, where I collaborate with engineers and designers to provide creative, innovative solutions that improve people's lives. In my free time, I enjoy writing, drawing inspiration from watching my children during their daily football training sessions and weekend games.
